When the Reverend Mike O’Sullivan saw Shebang he asked if I would create a collage for the Cork Unitarian Church on Prince’s Street in 2020.
I got busy!
This was my first art for an outdoor public space. It stood the test of time and was not removed until the Cork City Council sponsored mural of Frederick Douglass was painted on the wall in April 2024.
At the moment, I am reworking salvaged pieces of the original collage into a new work. All the pieces are sitting in my studio humming with excitement!!!!
Here’s an article from the Evening Echo about Unitarian Echoes – my first commission!
